Evaluating Your Adversaries: Know Your Foes in Pixlaria
Mudwitch
In your initial encounters following the tutorial's completion, you'll come across the Lv.1 Rat and the Lv.4 Batterfly. These adversaries prove to be rather manageable, inflicting minimal damage. Venturing deeper from the spawn point, you'll soon confront Goblins. These foes present a considerable challenge at your current low level, marking your first noteworthy test. Within the starting region, you'll encounter just two additional adversaries: the Wizard and the Ancient Wizard, with the latter displaying significantly greater strength.
Beach
Upon reaching the beach area, you'll stumble upon a variety of elements, including a couple of dungeons and a shop. In terms of adversaries, your first encounters will be with crabs. As you explore further along the shoreline, you'll encounter an elevated terrain inhabited by eerie skeletons. Moving to the northeast section of the beach, you'll come across a cave that houses not only more crabs but also the formidable Warrior's Hermit Crab, a mini-boss that poses a significant challenge unless you're well-prepared. Notably, defeating this mini-boss yields the coveted Magic Bead.
In the center of the beach area, there's another cave located along the upper border of the landmass, home to the Spooky Skeletons. Within this cave, most players will face off against the Hobgoblin, a formidable adversary. Alongside the Hobgoblin, you'll encounter a variety of other foes, including crabs, Hermitcrabs, Scary Skeletons, Wizards, Yollow mice, and a chest that, surprisingly, turns out to be a mimic. Additionally, you'll have an encounter with the mini-boss Water Guardian, which drops the valuable Emerald Ring item.
Desert
Venturing directly east from the southeastern island of Mudwitch leads to the desert zone, inhabited by a range of moderately challenging adversaries. Your initial encounters will include Sneks, and as you delve deeper into the zone, you'll come across Orgs, Desert Scorpions, and Vultures. While progressing through this region, you'll observe that the cacti have a peculiar tendency to follow and attack you. Dispatching these foes is relatively straightforward, and defeating enough of them will reward you with the prized Cactus Axe.
Heading southwest within the desert region will lead you to a graveyard where you'll encounter the same Spooky and Scary Skeleton variants as encountered previously. On the southeastern side of the desert, you'll discover a small hut that, upon entering, teleports you to a maze-like cavern inhabited by Worker Ants and Soldier Ants.
In the northern cave, your encounters will be limited to Orges. Meanwhile, in the northeastern cave, you'll encounter an array of foes, including Wizards, Spooky Skeletons, Corrupted Bats, Golems, Bandits, Brown Mice, and the formidable mini-boss, the Orge Guardian.
